Looks like I once again abandoned the site :( Well, I've rectified that today by uploading two new galleries - one for my most recent works, and one that has all of the acrylic paintings I did last year.

Been a little more active on Instagram lately, which I hadn't been doing as much previously. I've decided to focus all of my energies until further notice on digital art, specifically on pieces completed on the Procreate app on my iPad. I also have been working on a little secret, just for fun kind of project which I will reveal more about hopefully soon!

I just posted a lot of works to some of the galleries that I haven't gotten around to posting here yet. Check out Gallery III and IV to see what's new.

In addition, I've added a new gallery, GALLERY VI, which will showcase what I've dubbed my "primitive nudes" series. There is a description in the gallery of what it's all about so take a look there for more info.

After a bit of a creative drought, the ideas are starting to flow again, and I'm working on a lot more new work. Stay tuned for more to be posted here very soon!

Well hey there! If you are a previous visitor to this site, you may have noticed a few changes! I've decided to mainly post whatever news and latest art here, on the new blog. It's so new, it still has that new blog smell.

So you may be asking, why start posting and updating here now? I was fairly active on Instagram for the better part of two-ish years, and while it's had it's moments of fun, I simply cannot stand it much there anymore. The same can be said for most social media these days, to be honest. If you take a look at my Links page, you may notice that my Facebook page is no longer listed there. I deleted it a few months ago. It's never really garnered much attention and I've mostly ignored it for long stretches of time - what's the point of keeping it, then?

Back to Instagram - I just got sick of trying to keep up with it regularly. And the algorithm - don't get me started on that! So I figured, I'm paying for this domain name and website, might as well take advantage of the freedom to post whatever I want, whenever I wish. The truth is, my day to day life is very, very hectic. I have a pretty big family - six kids! So you can imagine how crazy it can be. Between family (whom I love very much above all else, mind you), and my "real life" job, I have to grab the moments to either create or to update the internet on what's been happening, etc. I personally feel the creation is the most important part.

So, there you have it, basically. Other new things on the site include THREE new galleries. I've broken all the galleries down into essentially the contents from all four of my art books, with other random artworks from that particular era. Gallery V is a little different - this gallery showcases what I've dubbed my "Big Painting Series" that I produced in 2019. I will eventually be posting my thoughts on what I had in mind for these and what some of the ideas/philosophy behind the pieces is.
